Vanilla Subprocessors

Vanilla engages third-party subprocessors to help us provide services to our customers. As a condition of permitting a subprocessor to process personal data, Vanilla will enter into a written agreement with each subprocessor containing data protection obligations at least as protective as the technical and organizational measures Vanilla has put into place to protect customer personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access.

What is a subprocessor?
A subprocessor is a third-party engaged by Vanilla to process personal data about Vanilla customers.
Why does Vanilla use subprocessors?
Our infrastructure subprocessors include Vanilla’s cloud service providers and data centers in order to store and process customer data.
Our customer support subprocessors provide Vanilla with services to provide customer and sales support.
Our feature-specific subprocessors allow Vanilla to provide certain features to our customers such as AI functionality.
Do you have Data Processing/Protection Agreements (“DPAs”) in place with subprocessors?
As a condition of permitting a subprocessor to process personal data, Vanilla will enter into a written agreement with each subprocessor containing data protection obligations at least as protective as the technical and organizational measures Vanilla has put into place to protect customer personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access.
Vanilla only processes data of U.S. data subjects.
